She has appeared in numerous national commercials and worked with awarding winning director Heidi Van Lier in her film Monday which premiered at the Slamdance festival 2006. Her many years of outreach work at Plaza De La Raza and her direction of the children in Lorca's, Blood Wedding, sparked her interest in Dia De Los Muertos which led to the writing of The Accidental Death of Joey by Sue. Sarah will direct her next feature Scarlet Ibis slated to begin production in late 2010.
