...Dallas

Well Hollywood has done it again. Next Summer the TV show "Dallas" will return to television, this time on cable, TNT to be exact. Is Hollywood running out of ideas? Yes, several years ago actually. This idea has been floating around for a couple of years now so it comes as no surprise that they are finally putting it into production. There will be 10 episodes, since it will be a test run. The new story focuses on the Ewing offspring as they clash over the future of the family dynasty. Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy will be the only original cast members on the new show...so far. I do not like remakes. Hawaii Five-0, Charlie's Angels, Beverly Hills 90210, etc. etc. etc. I hope this show fails and Hollywood starts to get CREATIVE!!!! Digit Down of course.

...Marilyn Monroe

Everyone knows that Marilyn Monroe is still an icon in the movie world, though she has been dead for 49 years. Her iconic white dress, the one worn in the 1955 film "The Seven Year Itch" just sold at an auction way above its estimated price. A collection of Hollywood memorabilia held by actress Debbie Reynolds, saw Monroe's "subway" dress, now cream colored from age, sold for $4.6 million (or $5,520,000, with added fees). Who bought it? No one knows yet but obviously they are either a huge fan or maybe a museum or a collector of Hollywood memorabilia. To me this says that the economy is good somewhere... Now I wonder if it was bought by a Chinese business man.. As long as he takes care of it then that it okay. I am giving Marilyn Monroe a Digit Up for still being in high demand after all of these years and after all of your dirty laundry has been aired. I wonder how much her alleged sex tape would sell for...

Men in Life Deborah Henry

WORLD fashion, modeling and art are well within internationally acclaimed model of dengue-India cross the Irishman. Who does not know the name of beauty, Deborah Priya Henry, 26, (Deborah Henry) is.

Continuing his career was, Deborah will be leaving to Brazil in August to spend the next month to compete with more than 80 Miss Universe competition which will represent their respective countries.

...Elizabeth Taylor

Sad news this morning, Dame Elizabeth Taylor has passed away at the age of 79. She died this morning in Los Angeles of congestive heart failure. She had been in the hospital for 6 weeks, but recently her children said she was doing better and feeling better, so much so that they were planning on bringing her home soon. For everything she was on screen she was even more off screen. A mother to 4 children, a grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 4. A wife, 8 times over to 7 men. A brand, possibly one of the 1st actresses to brand herself, we all have heard of White Diamond, my mom still loves it. She was a great philanthropist, known around the world for her AIDS work, even starting the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation in 1991. Many things will be said about her, 90% good. She was a friend to many, a hero to others and a trailblazer for every actress today. She was the 1st actress to be paid $1 million for a film, Cleopatra. he was nominated for 5 Oscars, she won 2, and she won a special Oscar, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. From 12 to now she was in the spotlight and she carried herself as a lady should, with poise and civility. Maybe Sir Elton John summed it up best when he said, “We have just lost a Hollywood giant; more importantly, we have lost an incredible human being.” This is news gets 2 Digits Down.

...Hollywood

Hollywood is upset with someone... Who? President Barack Obama. Why? A few weeks ago the Obama administration announced it would no longer legally defend the Defense of Marriage act, and now some of his Hollywood supporters are upset and even pissed with him. They wrote even wrote him a letter, that I am 115% sure he will read, and here it is:

Dear Mr. President:

In February, you made a powerful statement about the law.

Invoking guarantees enshrined in the Constitution, you and the Attorney General determined that federal discrimination against gay and lesbian couples in marriage is unconstitutional. Thank you for taking a principled stance and an important step toward equal protection under the law for all Americans.

Today we ask you to take the next step and join the majority of Americans who support allowing loving and committed gay and lesbian couples to legally marry.

Mr. President, marriage matters. In law, in love, in life, marriage says "we are family" in a way that nothing else does. Marriage is the coming together of two lives, marked by a public promise of love and responsibility in front of friends and family. And marriage brings not only public respect and personal significance, but also a safety net of legal protections, rights, and responsibilities for which there is no substitute.

Like so many Americans, you have spoken of your personal journey toward support for the freedom to marry. You have talked about the gay and lesbian people in your life, their commitment to each other and care for their kids, and their families that aren't so different from any other family.

We ask you now for your leadership on ending the exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage, an exclusion that harms millions of Americans each day. Whether to end discrimination in marriage is a question America has faced before, and faces again today. With so many Americans talking it through in heartfelt conversations, it is a question that calls for clarity from the President.

Some of these names are pretty powerful people and HUGE donors. David Geffen is a billionaire. Sean Parker helped Obama reach the youth via Facebook, as former President of Facebook that was not so hard for him to do. Chris Hughs is openly gay and co-founded Facebook. He and his partner/husband are very upset with the president, especially since Chris not only campaigned for Obama, he worked for the administration as well. Last month Matt Damon and Jane Lynch expressed their disappointment with the president on the issue as well. While the president said he supports civil unions, that is not good enough for a lot of gay Americans. He also said his views on same-sex marriage were "evolving". Whatever the case may be he is about to launch his 2012 re-election campaign and tour and this is an issue that will hound him and could cost him some votes with the hardcore liberals, although I doubt it. Still the 2012 election is not too far away for Hollywood to start making films that bash Obama. I am giving Hollywood a Digit Up for speaking up and out against something they actually truly thought would change...they are so gullible.

...Christina Aguilera

It seems as if the drinking has aught up to her again. The 1st time would be at the Super Bowl when she made the flub heard round the world. Next would be the possible trip and fall at the Grammys. But now she has gotten arrested or booked, whichever legally sounds best for you. She was the passenger in a car driven by her 25 year old boyfriend Matthew Rutler. He was arrested for DUI. The cops saw that she was intoxicated and could not take care of herself. They took her in for public

intoxication. He was held on $30,000 bail. They were both released later. She will not be charged with the misdemeanor. Her height and weight was listed at 5'2" and 100 pounds, which could mean that only maybe 2 bears could push her over the legal limit, although with her recent drinking habits she may have built up a tolerance, who knows. While this could have been much much worse I think that this may be what she needs to straighted up and get help. Although I have a feeling that she may still go back out and try it all over again until something much worse happens. I guess she is melting down so that she could have a resurgence, a super comeback to boost those lagging album sales... She is a mother and while

that does not mean she cannot have fun at all, especially being a Hollywood mom, she does need to realize that there are consequences that could not only affect her but her child. I am giving Christina Aguilera a Digit Down.

...Warner Borthers

Warner Brothers suspended Two and a Half Men yesterday, but who cares, they have done something actually horrible. Warner Brothers is remaking a great movie, a modern classic even, "The Bodyguard", are you serious!?! Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner should protest this until they get their way. This movie does not deserve to be ruined by a remake. The new movie will be more up to date with things we deal with, "In the remake, the story would be updated so that the man would be a former Iraqi war vet trying to protect his client against an Internet world, in which stalkers can track stars on Twitter, Gawker Stalker, Google Maps and countless other sites." Yet again Hollywood is running out of original ideas, actually they ran out of ideas 3 ye

ars ago. The remake of "Arthur" will be out later this year and after that fails I hope Warner Bros. gets the picture and puts this movie on hold. Although they have not cast anyone to play the rolls yet, I have a feeling that Channing Tatum is going to be the new bodyguard. Until then though they will be receiving a Digit Down.

...California

I may HAVE to move there. Why? Because it is where the industry lives. Movies and television shows are made there. New York City does it as well, but California is the state, Hollywood, and its surrounding cities, are the places whee things get made. I am not a huge fan of California, but it is okay. It is almost bankrupt and it has high taxes, insurance and real estate. I am not sure if I will enjoy living there, around people who are all pretty much the same. I do not want to become a celebrity, that is not my goal in life, but I do wan to make television interesting, new shows, possibly a movie or two. Florida is my home state, it is cool, but Miami is the location for things, and even that is limited. Miami is...Hollywood

South. Who knows, maybe it will be New York City for me. They have fashion, business, and WEATHER. Rain, snow, sun, all of the things I enjoy. In California, Southern California, when it rains there is always a chance of a mudslide and a house or 6 falling down. I am getting ahead of myself, I am a few steps away from this, but it is better to plan ahead than get stressed when you finally get to that point. I am giving California a Digit...Down. This could change in the future, maybe a Digit up or 2 Down.

...Hollywood

I have dissed Hollywood in the past for lacking vreativity and whatnot with the realese of horrible remake of televison shows and movies that were better off left alone. But now something good has come out of Hollywood, peace? Possibly. These WikiLeaks that have been causing a ton of embarrassment for the U.S. Government have also shed a light into the way American television shows have helped us without even trying become more human to those who hate us. Shows like Friends and Desperate Housewives show a different side of us, less political and "evil" and more humorous and family oriented. One of the leaked cables said this:
"During the recent Eid holiday, Rotana's 'Fox Movies' channel repeatedly aired two mawkish US dramas (again with Arabic subtitles) featuring respectful, supportive American husbands dealing with spouses suffering from addiction problems -- in one case gambling (lost the kids' college funds and then told her college professor husband it was because he was boring) and the other alcohol (smashing cars and china when she wasn't assaulting the husband and child.) These films and others broadcast over the Eid offer models of supportive behavior in relationships, as well as exemplary illustrations of heroic honesty in the face of corruption ('Michael Clayton') and respect for the law

It seems as if Hollywood may be doing something right, although one of the key figures in this "fight" is David Letterman and he is based in New York... Any who I am going to give Hollywood a Digit Up for once, take it while you can.
