Her iconic white dress, the one worn in the 1955 film "The Seven Year Itch" just sold at an auction way above its estimated price. A collection of Hollywood memorabilia held by actress Debbie Reynolds, saw Monroe's "subway" dress, now cream colored from age, sold for $4.6 million (or $5,520,000, with added fees). Who bought it? No one knows yet but obviously they are either a huge fan or maybe a museum or a collector of Hollywood memorabilia. To me this says that the economy is good somewhere... Now I wonder if it was bought by a Chinese business man.. As long as he takes care of it then that it okay. I am giving Marilyn Monroe a Digit Up for still being in high demand after all of these years and after all of your dirty laundry has been aired. I wonder how much her alleged sex tape would sell for...
