Gabrielle Giffords has released the 1st photos of herself on her Facebook page of what she looks like after her near death experience. I must say for a woman who was shot int he head, she does not look bad at all. The photos were taken the day after her husband took off on the last flight on the space shuttle Endeavour. Though she does not look bad her chief of staff said about her condition, "She's living. She's alive. But if she were to plateau today, and this was as far as she gets, it would not be nearly the quality of life she had before." We all hope she gets better, though it is probably okay to assume she will never be 100% again, though we can hope for 85%. I am giving Gabrielle Giffords a Digit Up.
