...Roger Ebert
Roger Ebert is making headlines once again and it has nothing to do with his face or his movie reviews. After the death of "jackass" and "G4" star Ryan Dunn he Tweeted, "Friends Don't let jackasses drink and drive." Ebert said this because 2 hours before Dunn's car accident he Tweeted pictures of him and friends drinking at a bar. Ebert has been getting a lot of negative criticism from Dunn's friends mostly. Most vocal is Bam Margera who Tweeted in response, "I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical for a full day and piece of sh*t roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents ... About a jackass drunk driving and his is one, f*ck you! Millions of people are crying right now, shut your fat fu*king mouth!" Though is has not been ruled yet whether alcohol played a part in the accident people at the bar told TMZ that Dunn was "wasted" and "had a lot to drink." Though Ebert could have gotten the message out with better wording and he could have waited a while before saying what he did I must say that he is correct. Yes Dunn dying in a fiery car accident was horrible, but he essentially killed not only himself but another person all because of his drinking and driving. Though Ebert did the P.R. thing and tried to clear up his statement, he did not apologize for what he said...not fully anyway. I am going to give him a Digit Up for saying something that is obviously true, do not drink and drive. Also I am using an older picture of him because...it just feels better.
