All of you alcoholics stand back, this is not that type of party. Due to the success, or somewhat success, of the Tea Party, Latino and Hispanics in America are trying to form a grassroots organization known as the "Tequila Party". Latinos and Hispanics are tired of being overlooked by the Democrats, who they typically support, when is comes to issues such as immigration. Sense most Democrats assume they have their vote, they take them for granted, something that is starting to irk those voters. While the Tequila Party is still just talk and no prominent Latino or Hispanic leader has come out to talk about it of confirm it the idea d
oes not seem so far off from a possible reality. I could see this taking shape in a year or two, more towards the 2012 elections. I think a lot of Latino and Hispanic voters could possible even vote Republican, something that would most definitely hurt the Democrats. For the time being I am giving this party a Digit Up. I would hope that maybe they will find a less gimmicky name, although the current one is catchy.
