Michigan Friday: Needs a Win on Saturday

The Michigan injury report came out last night and there were a couple of news worthy items:
  • Mike Martin is probable at 75%
  • Fitz Toussaint is out again
  • Perry Dorrestein and Je'Ron Stokes are Questionable (50%) with Knee issues
The Michigan Defense really needs Mike Martin to play and play to his ability if Michigan is to get a win on Saturday.

There was a rumor floating around the Craig Roh was contemplating a transfer.  TomVH comes in to say, it's not true.  He just wanted to play more DE then LB.  Which he has been this week in practice.  Funny, I suggested that yesterday.

  • Both Wisconsin and Ohio State games will be noon starts.

  • Here is the press conference transcript from Michigan's response to the NCAA yesterday.

  • David Brandon went on the radio this morning, if your interested in listening, click here.   The best comment was that he was waiting for an apology from some of  the people in the media for the mistakes they made.

  • TomVH also clears up any rumors about Dee Hart being shaky with his commitment to Michigan.  His Mom said that Dee will be at U of M in January.  YES!

  • Maybe one of the most important recruits left of Michigan's board is a guy named Byron Moore a 2009 USC Commit, that decided not to stick it out with the Trojans after their NCAA beat down.  He played for a JUCO this year and has now opened up his recruitment.   Byron was the 6th ranked safety in the 2009 class and has a year of playing under his belt.  Talk about guaranteed playing time.   Byron played at the same high school as Sean Parker.   Michigan is not on his visitor list yet.

  • Malcom Crockett is a soft verbal to Cincinnati is visiting  the Big House this weekend.  Malcom is a 3 star RB who plays corner as well.  I'm guessing Michigan wants him as a corner.

  • Blake Countess a 4 star DB from Maryland is also getting a lot of attention for Michigan right now.  No offer yet, but one maybe coming soon.
